Weekend at Griffith Manor

This past weekend, Chloe and I traveled the 2 hours north to Griffith Manor. We had a great time! We shopped, and shopped, and shopped some more :) Chloe had a blast with her "momma and papa". She got a few new shirts, some shoes, and most importantly, a puppy named Princeton. No, not a real puppy, a stuffed one that looks like a puppy she knows named Princeton. He now travels everywhere with her along with her other puppy. She got him for her birthday from Auntie Barbie, Uncle Andy, Sophia and Drew. He is one of those fur-real pets that barks and wags his tail. She's in love :) Here are a few pics from our weekend courtesy of Gramma b/c mommy forgot her camera at home!

Sleeping Beauty

The other morning, I actually had to go and wake up Chloe to get ready for school. I rarely have to do that these days as she usually wakes up while I'm in the shower or shortly thereafter. But this day, she was passed out cold in her bed at 7:50.

I think part of the reason is because she was up for 2 and a half hours knocking on her door pleading for Daaaaaaaadddddyyyyy to come get her so she could watch Movers and have some juice. He didn't fall for it that night, so she climbed right back up to bed and fell back asleep.

I had to get a pic of this very rare moment of peace and quiet coming from our little girl.

New Blog Home

Welcome! Turns out, I don't like Word Press all that much, so I came back to Blogger. Unfortunately, I can't import our blog back into this one, so for now, we're starting from scratch. I'll do my best to blog more but with a crazed 2 year old running around the house, my nights are spent relaxing in my recliner!

Shawn and I will keep working on getting the old posts back, but until then, I'll put up a new pic of Chloe in my next post.
