Catching up - May

May has been a busy month for us so far, and it's only the 16th!

Chloe got to go visit her Gramma and Papa Kessel a few weekends ago with Shawn so I had a peaceful weekend to myself. I was then on vacation the whole next week so I started reading the Twilight books. I am proud to say that I finished all 4 book in just 6 days! Loved them! If you haven't read them yet, I highly recommend them. If you've seen the movie, the book is 100x better, I promise!

We've also visited with Jake and Leslie. We took a nice walk over to their house in Chloe's wagon that we got her for Christmas. She loves being outside and of course, baby came with. We had fun talking with Jake and Les and Jake's parents. We also planted some flowers, baked some brownies, and have had lots of fun in the meantime.

We're looking forward to spending Memorial Day with the family at the end of this month. Enjoy these new pictures!

Catching up - April

Wow, it's been a while since I've posted anything! Chloe's doing great. She is probably 90% potty trained, no more diapers, only a pull up at nap/bedtime. I say 90% trained because sometimes she will be playing and forget about going potty so she'll have an accident. Oops! But she loves being a big girl. She's very proud of herself and always willing to get that reward of an M&M.

She has also really taken off with her speech. She'll tell us all about her day now, sometimes she has to repeat herself for us to realize what she is saying, but she's doing so well. She started a new daycare this month that she loves. She's making lots of new friends and loves her new provider. She talks about her all the time.

I'm sure you're all craving some new Chloe pictures so here you go!

Adventures in Potty Training!

Well, we are one week in with potty training, and I must say, my Chloe is a natural! The first weekend, we did have lots of accidents, about 12 for the whole weekend. But we also had many more successful trips to the potty. On Monday, off she went to daycare prepared to start the task of potty training with Miss Kim. She had only one accident all week long!!! She's had a few accidents here at home, but those were not pee accidents :) She'll learn the other in due time.

I am so happy that Shawn and I have bought our last box of diapers and wipes. She'll continue on wearing a diaper or pull up for nap time and bed time, but only using 2 a day is so much better than 10/day!

Lets hope that she can continue to succeed in this huge milestone in her life. Here are a few pics from the past week so you can get your Chloe fix in! Enjoy!
